1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you book an estimate through our online calendar, submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, call us, or text us, we may collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The address of the property you want painted
• Details about your painting project, such as interior or exterior and what you want done
• Your consent to be contacted by phone call and text message, including when you gave it
• Appointment details, notes from your estimate, and any messages between you and us

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you requested. This website does not use advertising pixels or analytics cookies. Our online booking calendar is run by a third-party scheduling provider and may use cookies it needs to work.

2. How we use your information

• To contact you about the free painting estimate you asked for
• To schedule, confirm, remind you about, and follow up on your appointment
• To send you follow-up messages about your painting project, where you have agreed to receive them
• To give you a written price and do the painting work you agree to
• To keep normal business records and meet our legal obligations, including keeping consent and opt-out records

3. Calls and text messages

What you are agreeing to

When you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, you may receive calls and text messages from us at that number. These include:

• Appointment messages: confirmations, reminders, reschedules and cancellations
• Follow-up messages: follow-up about your painting project and invitations to book an estimate
• Automated and AI-assisted calls: an automated assistant may call you to help schedule your estimate. The assistant identifies itself as an AI at the beginning of the call, and will tell you plainly that it is an AI if you ask at any point. Brian attends your estimate in person.

Consent

We only send these messages to people who asked us for an estimate and agreed to be contacted. Agreeing to receive messages is not a condition of buying anything from us. We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable Florida law.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on where you are in the process. Follow-up messages stop if you book an estimate, reply, or opt out. Appointment messages are sent as needed.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any text message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message, and then we will not text you again unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or call (727) 251-9185. To stop automated calls, tell the assistant during the call or call us.

Carriers and rates

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers. Companies that help us run the business, such as our customer contact software, online booking calendar, phone and text message providers, and email delivery service. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Legal reasons. Where required by law, legal process or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
• Business transfer. If the business is sold or transferred, your information may move with it and stays protected under this policy.

All of the above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which are not shared with any third party other than the aggregators and providers of our text messaging service.

5. Facebook and Instagram

We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). If you fill out a lead form in one of our ads, Meta collects that information and passes it to us, and Meta's own privacy policy also applies to it. You can manage ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

6. Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure connections and limiting access to the people who need it. No way of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to give you an estimate, do the work, and keep normal business records. We keep records of consent and opt-outs so we can show consent was given and make sure we don't contact you after you opt out.

8. Your choices

• Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you
• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
• Ask us to stop calling or emailing you
• Withdraw your consent to automated calls and texts

9. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

This website links to other sites, such as our booking calendar. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. This policy only covers information collected by Rock Solid Home Services.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its effective date.
